Machaon International is involved as a partner and actively supports the 'KenArt – European cultural bridge' project in the Kenozero National Park (Archangelsk region) in Russia. The main idea of the project is to bring together local and international artists, masters in handicrafts, art designers, musicians, experts in cultural revival and restoration from the north of Russia, Estonia, the Czech Republic and Slovakia and jointly orginize a festival to be held in 2010 as a celebration of the wealth and diversity of traditional European culture and art. The project is financed by the EU Commission (ENPI Russia Action Programme and Institution Building Partnership Programme: Cultural Cooperation Initiatives).
